With the rapid growth of national economy and the continuous innovation of surveying and mapping and geographic information technology, digital city construction is developing rapidly. It is particularly important to obtain digital surface model and orthophoto image of a city when planning and spatial layout.
Traditional manual surveying and mapping is slow and inefficient, and aerial photogrammetry often can not get accurate ground model. Airborne LiDAR provides more efficient and high-quality 3D information data for the construction of basic geographic information framework of digital city by processing and analyzing point cloud data obtained at high speed and fast, and helps digital city to stride forward to smart city.
Commissioned by the client, the project is located in a hilly area with a mid-latitude subtropical climate.
The test area covers a total area of 3.2 square kilometers, with dense vegetation and a surface drop of 120m, which has a great influence on the selection of take-off and landing points of aircraft.
The PM-1500 airborne laser measurement system has the advantages of all-weather, long endurance, multi-echo and intelligent flight control, which can operate in complex hilly areas. In this project, it effectively solves the problems of hilly and mountainous areas with many trees, difficult access for personnel and difficult DEM acquisition in urban areas.
By obtaining 3D spatial information of the ground with high precision and high efficiency, and obtaining high-resolution optical images at the same time, the complete extraction of terrain information is realized. The PM-1500 airborne laser measurement system is a high-quality solution for topographic mapping and resource investigation.
