120 to 210min duration maximum load 10kg VTOL Fixed Wing UAV FengHu with 30km control radium level 6 wind resistance
Feng Hu VTOL fixed wing UAV is a heavy-duty, pure electric VTOL fixed wing UAV for the application of long-range LiDAR . Its maximum load is 10kg, and the flight operation time can reach 120min when equipped with 6.5kg LiDAR. Combined with the design of independent detachable large payload bay, it can meet the requirements of different LiDAR sizes. The redundant power supply by dual engine which “pull forward and push backward” is adopted, which not only ensures the high reliability of flight, but also meets the requirements of large climb rate, and can easily cope with high drop terrain flight.

Main features of Feng Hu VTOL fixed wing UAV
1. High reliability: redundant power supply by dual engine; pull forward and push backward mode. With high reliability, it can easily cope with high drop terrain missions requiring large climb rate.
2. Flexible loading: Feng Hu VTOL fixed wing UAV is equipped with an independent detachable large payload bay design (the size of the payload bay is 450mm * 250mm * 160mm, which can be expanded), and can flexibly mount various types of LiDAR products, orthophoto cameras, oblique five lens cameras and other sensor. With rich external interfaces, different operation modules can be replaced with one key.
3. High cruise efficiency: Feng Hu VTOL fixed wing UAV has an economical cruising speed of 75km/h, a maximum flight speed of 100km/h, a control radius of 30km, and an operating time of more than 2 hours with 6.5kg LiDAR equipment.
4. High environmental adaptability: After continuous iterative optimization, Feng Hu VTOL fixed wing UAV can adapt to the extreme temperature environment from - 10 ℃ to + 60 °, and can normally perform operation tasks in the wind of maximum level 6 and the maximum altitude of 4000 meters above sea level, with high environmental adaptability.
Application of Feng Hu VTOL fixed wing UAV
Taking UAV as the flight platform, multiple types of data can be obtained by carrying orthophoto camera, multispectral camera, oblique camera, thermal infrared camera and LiDAR. It is widely used in disaster emergency and treatment, land supervision and resource development, especially in basic mapping, land resource investigation and monitoring, land use dynamic monitoring, emergency relief mapping, the investigation of forestry resources and forest fire prevention.
1. Application of visible light remote sensing by UAV in forest resource parameter extraction
With the development and maturity of UAV low altitude aerial photogrammetry technology, the traditional methods and means of forest resources survey have been improved. UAV remote sensing technology has accelerated the digitization and intelligence of forest resources survey. Today, micro UAV constitutes UAV low altitude remote sensing system by carrying a variety of sensors, which can be flexibly deployed under complex conditions and perform a variety of remote sensing tasks.
2. Application of UAV equipped with multispectral sensors in forestry resources investigation and water quality monitoring
Compared with ordinary visible RGB three channel camera, multispectral sensor can obtain more channel and band information. Therefore, for the subject, it can show the information in different spectral bands and show more fine spectral characteristics. The main application directions of multispectral sensors are forestry, agriculture, water conservancy, electric power, environmental protection, police use and military.
3. Application of UAV oblique Photogrammetry in large-scale topographic mapping
Oblique photogrammetry technology is a high-tech developed in the field of international surveying and mapping in recent years. It overturns the limitation that orthophoto images can only be taken from a vertical angle in the past. By carrying multiple sensors on the same flight platform and collecting images from five different angles, such as one vertical and four tilts, it introduces users into a real and intuitive world in line with human vision.
4. Application of UAV equipped with thermal infrared sensor in forest fire prevention
UAV equipped with infrared thermal imaging monitoring system, combined with modern network transmission technology, can realize real-time monitoring and remote transmission of information, break the restrictions of environment, region and distance, truly realize the synchronous sharing of remote real-time information resources and late software intelligent identification and analysis, and achieve the purpose of efficiently ensuring people's life and property safety.
5. Application of UAV airborne LiDAR in topographic mapping
The laser pulse emitted by the airborne LiDAR sensor mounted on UAV can penetrate part of the forest shelter and directly obtain high-precision 3D surface terrain data. While acquiring the laser point cloud, the clear ground image is synchronously obtained through the high spatial resolution camera. Then the laser point cloud data and image data are jointly processed to obtain high-precision orthophoto map (DOM) and digital elevation model (DEM).
6. Application of UAV and airborne LiDAR in forestry investigation
Airborne LiDAR technology provides a new scheme for obtaining spatial information with high temporal and spatial resolution. In forest resources survey, it can directly measure the height of vegetation. Using it to obtain the vertical structure information of forest area can make up for the shortcomings of other remote sensing methods. The integration of other remote sensing technologies and airborne LiDAR technology can provide more comprehensive and accurate forest parameters.
