The traditional power line inspection mainly depends on manual work, which is time-consuming and labor-consuming, and the inspection line area is covered with dense vegetation, which can not be accessed by personnel. In addition, the steep mountain terrain also makes the inspection personnel in the inspection process have certain personal safety risks.
PM-1500 LiDAR system mounted on Fenghu VTOL UAV or L150 multi-rotor UAV can carry out intelligent acquisition of high-precision laser point cloud data and image data in power line inspection process. On one hand, based on the collected point cloud data, 3D real scene modeling can be carried out which is convenient for managers to view and browse the current situation of power lines. On the other hand, through the automatic classification and processing of point cloud data, according to the relevant regulations of power line patrol, it can make real-time safety analysis, detect the fault of dangerous points on the line, timely put forward early warning and identify the specific location of dangerous points. The application of PM-1500 LiDAR system in power line inspection not only solves the problem of huge workload of line inspection, but also effectively improves the efficiency and automation of line inspection.
