At present, the construction of large-area building model is mainly based on oblique photogrammetry. However, due to the interference between ground vegetation cover and buildings, the data effect of the bottom model of building model is poor, and the phenomenon of "latte art" often occurs. Based on this situation, oblique photogrammetry can not achieve good results in the construction of small-scale fine building models. With the development of 3D SLAM technology, handheld 3D laser scanner based on SLAM technology provides a new solution for the fine construction of building model.

 

To build a building model based on the HiSLAM handheld 3D laser scanner, it is first necessary to collect the point cloud of the target building. Then the noise point cloud is removed by point cloud denoising algorithm. Then, through pre-processing operations such as resampling, the target point cloud data of the building can be obtained. Finally, the building model can be built directly based on the building point cloud data. Building model based on Hi-SLAM handheld 3D laser scanner can obtain accurate building model data with accuracy better than 5cm. While ensuring accuracy, work efficiency is also significantly improved.
