Hi-Cloud HS650i high-precision 3D laser scanner is applied to scan the internal equipment and external structure of the substation, obtain the initial point cloud data, de-noise and smooth the collected original 3D point cloud data and geographic location information data, which can effectively and quickly realize the establishment of 3D model. The obtained data can be used to mount and monitor the equipment in the station, which greatly saves the management cost and operation and maintenance efficiency of the power system.
