The reconstruction and expansion of highway is a relatively complex project. Before design and construction, it is necessary to carry out a detailed survey of the original highway and the topography within a certain range of bandwidth on both sides to accurately obtain the terrain data before the reconstruction and expansion, so as to provide necessary basic data support for reconstruction and expansion. Compared with traditional measurement technology, 3D laser scanning technology has new technological innovation in measurement methods and results. The main technical advantages are high efficiency, high point cloud density, high measurement accuracy, active measurement and low field workload. The single 3D laser measurement system based only on vehicle-mounted laser measurement or airborne laser measurement still has certain limitations in reconstruction and expansion. It can be considered to combine the advantages of the two to be applied to road reconstruction and expansion projects.

 

HiScan-C is used as the vehicle-mounted mobile LiDAR system, supplemented by leveling data, mainly to obtain accurate topographic data inside the highway. Take PM-1500 as the airborne LiDAR system to obtain the terrain data of highway outer bandwidth. The combination of the two can efficiently produce 4D products, highway vertical and horizontal sections, feature points and line products required for highway reconstruction and expansion, so as to effectively solve the difficulty in obtaining basic topographic data for highway reconstruction and expansion.
