At present, bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer is generally used for stacking and reclaiming in bulk cargo yards of power system, port management, steel plant and other units, and a corresponding number of operating drivers are required to operate these equipment. Due to the harsh site environment and large dust, it has a great impact on people's health. In addition, when the work is busy, multi shift personnel are required to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted operation. Therefore, how to improve the stacking and reclaiming efficiency, reduce labor costs and reduce manual intervention has become a common urgent demand for all large stockyards.
By installing corresponding sensor equipment on the stacker-reclaimer, TLS360 laser scanner is installed on the cantilever head of each stacker-reclaimer, and the relative stroke position, boom rotation angle, boom pitch angle and grab lower edge position of the stacker-reclaimer are provided through the POS system.
During the automatic scanning operation of stacker-reclaimer, the scanning area within the set range of the head is scanned in real time through the 3D laser scanner to complete the real-time scanning of the 3D contour of the stockyard at the head of stacker-reclaimer, and the 3D laser scanning is sent to the control system of unmanned stacker-reclaimer in real time. The scanning data is used to calculate the length and stacking height of the material layer in real time, generate the operation plan, and send the command to the scheduling system for automatic control to realize automatic picking.
By equipping the unmanned automatic stacker-reclaimer with TLS360 laser scanner, it can help customer to improve the automation of the existing bulk cargo yard, reduce the labor intensity of operators, and improve the operation efficiency and site utilization.
